A new
revival of the original 60's model, which was designed by Dale Velzy
and Hap Jacobs, then named after Hap's shop located at 422 Pacific
Coast Highway, the 422 Traditional Noserider is made with authentic
double redwood stringer setup and shaped with traditional soft 50/50
rails, a pronounced teardrop concave for long noserides and the
422 signature "hips" and single pivot fin box for control
in turning. The 422 was one of the first noseriders ever to be designed
and was Jacob's response to the popularity of the Bing Nuuhiwa Noserider.
This board works well in small to mid-size waves with clean conditions.
